Westfield State Athletics won the Howard C. Smith Cup for the fifth consecutive year and ninth time in the last ten seasons, moving the Owls total to 19 overall cup victories!
The Westfield State University men's basketball team captured the 2025 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament title with a 93-63 win over Salem State. The Owl men set a record for largest margin of victory in a MASCAC Championship game, and advanced to the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Brayden Cutler and Dino Stellato had the call of the game.
