Men's Golf Opens Spring at Elms Invitational

Westfield State men's golf teed off on the spring 2026 campaign by finishing in a tie for fourth at the Elms College Invitational at the Ranch Golf Club in Southwick, Mass. on Friday.

The Owls shot a team total of 355, tied with VTSU Castleton.  Albertus Magnus College won the invitational with a team score of 316.

Nathan Copetas shot the low round of the day for the Owls with a 13-over 85.

Albertus' Pierson Hester won the individual title with an even-par 72.

Westfield is next scheduled to compete at the Rich Korzec Memorial Tournament, hosted by Worcester State University at Tatnuck Country Club on Monday, April 13.
