Westfield State women's golf teed off on the spring campaign Tuesday at the New Haven (Conn.) Country Club against Albertus Magnus College.

Westfield fell by a 403-437 final score.

Julie Gleason shot the low round of the day for the Owls with a 104, while Ashley Ames and Dorothy Duval were next at 107.

AMC was led by an 86 from Molly Martin on the 5,819 yard layout at NHCC, a 1921 designed course by two-time US Open Champion Willie Park, Jr.

The Owls have two more matches scheduled for this spring, and will return home to host Gordon College in a dual match at Shaker Farms CC in Westfield this Saturday, April 11.
