WESTFIELD, Mass.    –   Amr Aerikat scored a game high 17 points to lead the way for Randolph Macon (Va.) College as Westfield State fell to the Yellowjackets by a 82-48 final score the opening round of the NCAA Division III men’s basketball tournament at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on Friday afternoon.

After winning the 2025 MASCAC Tournament championship, senior guard Lid Moreland (Bridgeport, Conn.) and first-year Kenneth Rogers, Jr. (Springfield, Mass.) swept the conference weekly honors with Moreland named the MASCAC Player of the Week while Rogers, Jr. was tabbed the Rookie of the Week.

Westfield State men's basketball returns to the Woodward Center this Wednesday for a 5:30 p.m. matchup against Fitchburg State. At halftime of the game will be the Director of Athletics 3.0 Honor Roll presentation, honoring Westfield State student-athletes who have received academic achievement this past semester.
