The second-seeded Owls meet third-seeded Framingham tonight at 7:30 P.M.
Lauren Carnes paced the Owls with 11 kills in a clean sweep of the Lancers on the road Saturday afternoon.
Lauren Carnes and Hanna Nihill combined for 32 kills for the Owls, which secured a first-round postseason bye with the win.
Carnes posted a game high 13 kills to advance the Owls to 4-1 in the MASCAC.
Washkalavitch (Oxford, Pa.) led Westfield State with seven kills and seven aces as the Owls cruised to a three-set sweep over Anna Maria College.
Allie Hill registered six aces on a night the Owls piled up 15 in the match to help sweep the Wildcats.
A career-high 15 kills from Hanna Nihill helped secure a sweep over Fisher with the Owls taking all six sets played on the tri-match.
Five different Owls logged five or more kills as Westfield swept Salem State in MASCAC action at the Woodward Center.
Emily Washkalavitch registered 16 kills and five aces but the Owls could not hold a 2-0 lead as Bridgewater won the final three sets of the match.
Emily Washkalavitch notched 17 kills, ten digs, and four service aces in the MASCAC opener over Fitchburg.
Westfield picked up their fourth straight win as part of a tri-match sweep of Nichols and SUNY-Delhi.
