The Westfield State duo of Delaney Parker and Jaida Cochran have earned the 2023 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year honors and headline the 2023 MASCAC First Team All-Conference squad which is voted on by the coaches from around the conference.
Westfield State women’s soccer’s Kiana Muratsuka, Jaida Cochran, and Tia Tollis swept all Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference awards after securing the Owls’ third straight MASCAC tournament title this past Sunday.
Westfield State junior Delaney Parker (Orange, Mass.) delivered the game-winning goal with 24 minutes left in regulation to lift the Owls to a 2-1, come from behind win over top-seeded Bridgewater State in the 2023 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference championship game at Mazzaferro Field in Bridgewater on Sunday afternoon.
Sophomore forward Kiana Muratsuka (Mililani, HI) scored a goal and added an assist for Westfield State as the Owls took down the Plymouth Panthers, 3-2 on Westfield’s senior day.
