Lucy Barrett and Isabella Aitken earn MASCAC Weekly Honors
Westfield State senior guard Lucy Barrett (Mt. Greylock/Williamstown Mass.) took home her second MASCAC player of the week award this season, after guiding Westfield to their fourth straight conference championship. Isabella Aitken also earned her first MASCAC rookie of the week honor this season.

Isabella Aitken also earned her first MASCAC rookie of the week honor this season.
Barrett won tournament MVP after posting 20 points and 6 rebounds in the championship game against Worcester to follow up a 27 point, 4 steal performance in the semifinals game. She heads into the NCAA tournament with strong averages of 19.2 points per game to go along with 5.2 rebounds. Barrett was also named to the New England Women's Basketball Association honor roll for her stellar play this week.
Aitken had the best game of her young career in the MASCAC championship, scoring nine points and draining three 3-pointers in just eight minutes en route to rookie of the week honors.
