Shane Clark Earns All-Region Honors for Fourth Consecutive Year
Westfield State graduate student Shane Clark was named to the 2024 U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) outdoor track and field All-Region team for the fourth consecutive year.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State graduate student Shane Clark (Bellows Falls, Vt.) was named to the 2024 U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) outdoor track and field All-Region team for the fourth consecutive year.
Clark earned All-Region honors after placing top five in the javelin toss for the Mideast region after launching a 57.57-meter toss at the NEICAAA New England All-Divisions championship, the second-longest throw of his career.
Clark also secured All-New England honors earlier in the season after placing seventh at the New England Division III Championships.
For the season, Clark finished 40th on the national performance list in the javelin, where he wrapped up the season at the MIT final qualifier last week.
