Julianne Kelly Tabbed as MASCAC Runner of the Week
Kelly Led The Owls to A Second Place Finish at the James Earley Meet
Westfield, Mass. - Westfield State senior Julianne Kelly (Natick, Mass.), received league honors as the Massachusetts State Athletic Conference (MASCAC) runner of the week.
Owls hosted the 29th Annual James Earley Invitational in Stanley Park of Westfield, Massachusetts on Saturday, October 11. Westfield State women's cross country matched their best-ever team performance with a second-place (45 points) result, when Kelly was the first Owl to cross the finish line. Individually, Kelly placed fifth with a time of 18:53.07 on a five-kilometer course.
The Owls' next meet is Saturday, October 18 as the team will divide and travel to both Connecticut College Invitational and Western New England University Invitational. The Owls will be getting ready to play host to the 2025 MASCAC Championship on Saturday, November 1 in Stanley Park in Westfield, Massachusetts.
