NORTH ADAMS - The Westfield State University women's volleyball team concluded its regular season with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-23) victory over MCLA on Saturday, Oct. 30.
The Owls ended their regular season with an 18-12 overall record and a perfect 6-0 MASCAC mark. Westfield will play MCLA again next Saturday when the Owls host the MASCAC tournament. The semifinal game begins at 11:00 a.m.
Rachel Ryan (9 kills, 5 service aces, 4 digs, 2 blocks), Alex Shaw (9 kills, 2 blocks) and Julia Warner (8 kills, 9 digs, 2 blocks) led Westfield's balanced attack. Kerin DeGirolamo added 30 assists and four digs.
