Weekly Honor Roll
Westfield State University junior setter Kerin DeGirolamo (North Attleboro) was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's volleyball co-player of the week.
DeGirolamo averaged 30 assists, eight digs and 1.5 aces in a 1-3 week for Owls, including 35 assists and seven digs in a 3-0 MASCAC victory over Salem. She totaled 73 assists and 23 digs in pair of 3-1 setbacks to highly regarded Amherst and Coast Guard.
The Owls are idle until this Saturday, Oct. 2, when they host Rhode Island College and Clark University in a tri-match. The volleyball action during Family Weekend begins at 11:00 a.m. at the Woodward Center.
