MASCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Westfield State University volleyball standout Rachel Ryan was selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) co-player of the week.
The senior outside hitter from Westborough averaged 12 kills, nine digs and 3.5 service aces in 3-1 week for Owls, including 17 kills, nine digs and seven aces in 3-1 triumph at Rhode Island College.
Ryan shares the honor with Bridgewater junior middle hitter Shelly DePina, who averaged 13.3 kills, 6.3 digs, four blocks and 2.7 aces in 3-0 week for Bears, including 18 kills, 13 digs and five blocks in 3-2 win over Mount Holyoke to go with 13 kills, six digs and four blocks in 3-2 victory at Wheaton.
Westfield, 7-5 overall, begins MASCAC play on Tuesday when it hosts Salem State University at 7:00 p.m.
