CHICOPEE - The Westfield State University volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory (25-9, 25-17, 25-20) over Elms College on Tuesday night, Sept. 14.
Senior standout Rachel Ryan led the Owls with game highs of 15 kills and six service aces. Kerin DeGirolamo had 25 assists and three aces and Kayleigh Shea had a game high 11 digs and three aces. Julia Warner chipped in with six kills and five digs.
Westfield improves to 5-4 and Elms drops to 2-5. The Owls host Lasell College on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 7:00.
