WESTFIELD – The Westfield State University women’s volleyball team swept Keene State College, 3-0, (25-23, 25-19, 25-20) for a big non-conference victory at Tuesday, Sept. 7.
Westfield evens its record at 2-2 and Keene is 3-2.
Senior Rachel Ryan (Westborough) led Westfield with 13 kills and six digs. Junior setter Kerin DeGirolamo (North Attleboro) recorded 39 assists and two blocks.
Other top players for Westfield were: freshman Julia Warner of Lee (10 kills, 1 block, 10 digs, 4 aces), and junior Alex Shaw of East Falmouth (10 kills, 1 block).
