Lee Secures Fifth Straight MASCAC Field Athlete of the Week Honors
Lee finished sixth in the triple jump at the All-New England Championship, competing as the only Division III runner in the event.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State senior Eliza Lee (Walpole, Mass.) gathered conference honors for a fifth consecutive week as she was once again named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week.
Lee took home the league honors after her performance at the All-New England Championship meet this past weekend where she earned a sixth-place mark in the triple jump, leaping 11.24 meters among a field of 21 Division I and II competitors. She was the only competitor from a Division III institution. She also added a 15th place showing in the long jump on Friday at a mark of 5.21 meters.
For Lee, this is the seventh different occasion in which she has received the MASCAC Field Athlete of the Week as she closes the indoor season on a run of five straight indoor honors, spanning from the MASCAC Championship meet through the New England and All-New England events.
Lee finishes just outside an NCAA qualifying spot in the long jump with her indoor best season mark of 5.67m achieved at the MASCAC Indoor Championship meet ranking her 24th on the national indoor qualifying list. She was also 36th nationally in the triple jump, registering a distance of 11.44 meters at the Massasoit Classic on January 24.
At the MASCAC Indoor Championship meet, Lee notched all-conference honors in the long jump and triple jump with top marks in both and was part of the Owls team-winning 4x200 relay race. She piled up 38 points for the team as the Owls won the 2026 indoor title in dominant fashion.
Lee and the Owls will now turn to the 2026 outdoor season which begins on Saturday, March 21 for the J. Elmer Swanson Spring Classic from Wesleyan University.
