Lee Named MASCAC Field Athlete of the Week
Lee won both the long jump and the triple jump while totaling 38 points individually towards the Owls championship-winning total.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State senior athlete Eliza Lee (Walpole, Mass.) was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week after her impressive performance at the 2026 MASCAC Indoor Championships on Sunday.
Lee finished first in both the long jump and the triple jump, improving her mark in the long jump to 15th on the national indoor qualifying list with a leap of 5.67m. She also logged a 10.79m mark in the triple jump and is currently 18th on the national qualifying list in that event.
The Walpole native also racked up points on the track as well, finishing second in the 400 with a time of 1:02.58 and third in the 60m hurdles at 10.13 seconds. She also participated in two of the Owls three relay events and was part of the team-winning 4x200 race. Individually, Lee piled up 38 points across five events and played a role in an additional 18 points via relays.
As a team, the Owls won the 2026 MASCAC Indoor Championship with a total of 250 points, winning the meet by a 117-point margin.
Lee has plenty of runway left in her indoor season as she will prepare for the New England Division III Championships which are held on Sunday, March 1 from The Track at New Balance in Boston, Mass.
