WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Westfield State women’s track and field team held off a strong challenge from Bridgewater State to win the 2024 MASCAC Outdoor Track and Field Title at the Jerry Gravel Track and Alumni Field in Westfield on Friday.
Westfield State track and field athletes Eliza Lee and John Nekitopoulos each won multiple events at the MASCAC Championship meet to headline the teams’ All-Conference award winners.
Westfield State junior Eliza Lee won a pair of events and was part of the Owls women’s track and field team’s winning 4x400 relay team as the Owls won the 2024 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship on Saturday afternoon at Smith College.
After a year’s hiatus, the MASCAC Indoor Track and Field Championships have returned with Westfield State men’s and women’s track and field hosting the meet at Smith College in Northampton, Mass. on Saturday, February 10.
