Fourth-Straight Rookie of the Week Award for Eliza Lee

Westfield State first-year Eliza Lee (Walpole, Mass.) was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference women’s track and field rookie of the week for the week ending April 23.

WESTFIELD, Mass. –  Westfield State first-year Eliza Lee (Walpole, Mass.) was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference women's track and field rookie of the week for the week ending April 23.

Lee was named the circuit's rookie of the week for the fourth straight time during the outdoor track and field season.

Lee posted a pair of top five finishes at the Trinity Invitational Track and Field meet in the long jump and triple jump.

She was fifth in the long jump with a mark of 4.88 meters and fourth in the triple jump with a hop, skip, and jump of 11.01 meters, a personal best mark.

The Owls will next compete at the MASCAC Championships at Fitchburg State University this weekend.
