WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Westfield State University junior Sabrina Pray (Mansfield, Mass.) has qualified for the 2017 NCAA Division III outdoor track and field championships in the 100 hurdles.
Pray was named as part of the 22-competitor field when the NCAA announced the selections on Saturday.
Pray will go into the championships in good form, having run a personal-best and school record time of 14.58 seconds at the ECAC Championship meet, which was on her home course, the Jerry Gravel Track at Westfield State on May 18, the last possible day to run qualifying times.
She has set and lowered the Westfield State University record in the hurdles on several occasions in her career.
The championships will be held May 25-27 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. The top eight finishers in each event earn All-America honors from the US Track and Field Collegiate Coaches Association.
