Seven Swimmers Named to LEC All Academic Team
A total of 82 swimmers across the league’s 11 teams were recognized.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State University's women' swimming and diving team recently placed seven student athletes on the Little East Conference's Winter 2025-26 All-Academic team.
Morgan Hart (Avon, Mass./Blue Hills Regional) , Ashlyn Hough (Braintree, Mass.), Shaelyn Mullen (Greenfield, Mass./Pioneer Valley Reg.), Olivia Harkins (Woburn, Mass.), Megan Baio (E. Bridgewater, Mass./Cardinal Spellman), Vivian Vanderpool (Elgin, Okla.) and Lucia Sadura (E. Stroudsburg, Pa.) were all named to the high-performing academic squad.
A total of 82 swimmers across the league's 11 teams were recognized.
To be named to the LEC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore standing in the classroom, have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the previous semester, and have been at their current institution for at least one full academic year.
Westfield State University competes as an affiliate member in swimming and diving in the Little East Conference. The Owls placed sixth among the 11 competing schools at the 2026 LEC Championship Meet in February.
