Banagan Wins LEC Title
Westfield State sophomore Kara Banagan won the 3 meter diving event with her score of 334.35.
WELLESLEY, Mass. - The 2022 Little East Conference Swimming & Diving Championship Got under way Saturday with the women's 3-meter diving competition, which was held at Wellesley College. Westfield State sophomore Kara Banagan (Niskayuna, N.Y.) won the event with her score of 334.35.
Bridgewater State senior Alexa Wilson was the runner-up in the event, posting a total of 311.55. She earns Second Team All-LEC honors for her showing.
The men's 3-meter diving was not contested. The championships will next shift to the Boston Sports Institute for three days of prelim and finals sessions starting Sunday.
NOTE: Per the Boston Sports Institute, spectators are not permitted at the event. All sessions will be streamed live on the LEC Network.
