Prattson Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week
Westfield State first-year attacker Emma Prattson received the MASCAC Rookie of the Week after a 2-0 week for the Owls
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State first-year attacker Emma Prattson (Tolland, Conn.) received the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week after posting a goal and six assists in a 2-0 week for the Owls.
She dished out three assists in a 19-3 victory over Keene State on Wednesday followed by a goal and three helpers in a 19-3 conference win over Fitchburg State.
Prattson has found her stride recently for Westfield, recording ten of her 14 points on the season over the last three games. Her 13 assists on the year currently places her second on the Owls in that category.
Westfield State (8-5, 3-0 MASCAC) carries a five-game winning streak into their next match-up against MCLA on Wednesday at 5:00 P.M. as the Owls look to remain perfect in conference play.
