Grant Earns D3hoops.com All-Region Honors

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State women's basketball senior Jordan Grant (Gray, Maine/Gray New Gloucester) was highlighted as an all-region 1 player in the D3hoops.com teams that were announced yesterday.
A 5-11 forward, Grant landed a spot on the third team.
She helped the Owls to a 16-10 record in 2024-25, leading the team in scoring, 16.7 points per game. Rebounding at 6.0 per game and blocked shots at 0.9 per game, and averaged 2.3 steals and 1.3 assists.
A Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference first-team selection, Grant finishes her four year career with 1,486 career points, ranking fifth all time at Westfield, and registers among the Owls' career leaders with 583 rebounds, 78 blocked shots and a 49.7 percent field goal percentage.
Grant opened the year with a 31-point, 10 rebound, 4-steal performance in a win over Rivier University, and added a career best 35-points with 10 rebounds and four steals as the Owls topped Fitchburg on February 12.
Players chosen to the D3hoops.com All-Region team are eligible for All-America selection.
This is the 24th year D3hoops.com has named an All-Region team and this year's All-America team will be the 28th annual All-America selections. The D3hoops.com All-American teams, along with those of the respective coaches' associations, are the only ones recognized in the NCAA record book.
