Gray To Play in NEWBA Senior All Star Game

WESTFIELD, Mass.  – Westfield State senior Melissa Gray (Peabody, Mass.) has been named to play in this weekend's New England Women's Basketball Association Senior All-Star Game.

Gray, was a first team all-MASCAC selection, as well as the organization's Defensive Player of the Year, and was also named a second-team all-New England selection by both NEWBA and D3Hoops.com.

The senior all-star game will be played at Springfield College's Blake Arena on Sunday, March 27 with a 1:00 p.m. start.

Gray, who averaged 20 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.6 steals per game this season, will play for the 'Home' team, coached by Springfield's Naomi Graves.  Gray will graduate as the Owls' all-time leader in scoring with 1,757 career points.
