Gray Named to NEWBA Weekly Honor Roll

WESTFIELD, Mass. - Senior Melissa Gray (Peabody, Mass.) was named as member of the New England Women's Basketball Association's weekly honor roll list for her outstanding performance in the past two games. 

Gray averaged 26 points for the Owls as they went 1-1 this past week. She scored 27 points with 12 rebounds in Westfield's loss to Framingham State and dropped 25 points and six rebounds in a victory over Salem State. She also knocked down 5-10 threes against the Vikings on the way to hitting her 300^th career three pointer.

Gray ranks 12^th among Division III players with 64 made threes, and she's averaging 20 points, eight rebounds and two assists per game this season. 

Westfield's next game is on the road against Worcester State on Wednesday, February 9^th at 5:30 PM.
