Cerone, Pelletier, and Two Relay Teams Land on Men’s Indoor All-Conference
Devan Cerone was the long jump champion while Michael Pelletier took home the top spot in the long jump.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State sophomore Devan Cerone (Southwick, Mass.), senior Michael Pelletier (Wilbraham, Mass.), and two Owls relay teams were named to the 2026 MASCAC indoor track and field all-conference team after competing in the conference championship meet this past Saturday.
Cerone claimed the top spot in the high jump with a leap of 1.87 meters while Pelletier secured a first-place distance in the long jump with his second attempt at a mark of 6.69 meters.
Along with two individual titles, the Owls earned top placement in two of the three relay races during the championship. In the 4x200 relay, the quartet of Jordan Stallworth (Chicopee, Mass.), Jace Falcone (Wilbraham, Mass.), Myles Craft (Oxford, Mass.), and Brandon Paquette (West Springfield, Mass.) crossed the tape with a team time of 1:33.68 to nab all-conference honors.
In the 4x800, Rowan Gottshall (Simsbury, Conn.), Colin Mahoney (Plainville, Mass.), Drew Organ (Suffield, Conn.), and Lorcan Bergeron (Medway, Mass.) totaled a time of 8:30.67 to grab all-conference honors.
Men's track and field finished second at the conference title meet.
Westfield State will be back in action on Saturday as select athletes will participate in the last chance postseason qualifier meet at Wheaton College beginning at 3:45 P.M.
