Sylven Makes MASCAC Weekly Honors

WESTFIELD, Mass. — Nathan Sylven (Wrentham, Mass.) earns MASCAC men's Track Athlete of the Week honors for his performance at the Harvard Invitational Meet on Friday.

Sylven placed third in the men's 5,000-meter dash as he crossed the finish line with a time of 15:28.94, which beats his former personal best by 27 seconds. 

This is Sylven's second MASCAC Track Athlete of the Week as he earned it just a week ago for his time of 15:55.20 at the Massasoit Invitational on Jan. 28.

Sylven and the men's track and field team will compete next at the second Coast Guard Winter Invite Meet on Saturday, Feb. 8.
