Ranck receives MASCAC Honors

Westfield, Mass. – Westfield State sophomore Colby Ranck (Chicopee, Mass.) earned the MASCAC Rookie of the Week this past weekend after placing eighth in the triple jump (12.14m/39'10") and tenth in the long jump (6.25/20'6.25") at the Utica Holiday Classic on Saturday.

Rack built off a second consecutive strong outing where he finished second in the long jump with a leap of 6.28 meters and was fourth in the triple jump at 12.17 meters at the Springfield College Invitational meet.

Westfield State will resume the season on Saturday, January 8^th as the Owls participate in the Harvard Meet in Cambridge, Mass.
