Winslow Locks Up MASCAC Goalie of the Week
The sophomore goalie posted a .985 save percentage across a pair of victories.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State sophomore goalie Aiden Winslow (Jacksonville, Fla.) earned conference honors this past week as he was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference's Goalie of the Week.
The sophomore goalie finished the week with 66 saves, a .985 save percentage, and a miniscule 0.50 goals against average in two wins this week for the Owls. On Wednesday, he registered his first shutout of the season by stopping 30 shots in a 5-0 win over Keene State, then followed with another impressive effort by saving 36 of 37 shots as part of a 4-1 win over Post University.
On the season, Winslow has amassed a heavy workload in net, starting in 12 of the Owls 14 games. He has won seven of his last eight starts between the pipes, recording an 8-4 record with a 2.84 goals against average and a .905 save percentage. In half of his starts, Winslow has registered 30 or more saves, including a season-high 40 saves in a road win at Worcester earlier in the year.
Winslow, who earned the MASCAC's Rookie of the Week three times last season in his first collegiate action, nabs the goalie of the week for the first time this season, extending a run of five straight weeks with at least one Owls player receiving league player of the week/rookie honors.
The Owls have been rolling out of the break, winning their first three games of 2026 to move their win streak to five games and a 10-4 overall mark. Westfield will be in action tomorrow as the Owls visit Saint Anselm for a non-conference game on Tuesday for a 6:00 P.M. puck drop.
