Krupcyznski Earns MASCAC Rookie of the Week Honors
The rookie forward collected three points in his collegiate debut to help the Owls skate to a season-opening win.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – In the first collegiate week of his career, Westfield State first-year forward Liam Krupcyznski (San Marcos, Calif.) was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week after delivering a strong performance for the Owls this past week.
Krupcyznski tallied one goal and two assists in his collegiate debut as part of an 8-5 victory over Western New England on the road Friday night to begin the regular season.
The Owls played back-to-back games to start the season, travelling to UMass Dartmouth on Saturday for a mid-afternoon game.
Westfield State remains on the road for their next game, visiting Franklin Pierce tomorrow for a 7:00 P.M. puck drop before returning to Amelia Park Arena to host the home opener on November 11 at 7:35 P.M. against Johnson & Wales.
