Ouellet Earns MASCAC Rookie of the Week Honors
The Owls forward got his career off to hot start scoring the first two goals of the Owls' season.

Westfield State first-year Louis Ouellet (Baie-Comeau, Quebec / Universel Gatineau-USPHL) was named as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference men's ice hockey rookie of the week for the week ending Nov. 3.
The Owls forward got his career off to hot start scoring the first two goals of the Owls' season, and added an assist as Westfield posted a 5-3 win over Franklin Pierce University on Friday in the opening round of the Western Mass Invitational tournament. He skated the next day in the Owls 3-2 win over Western New England in the championship game to win the Alumni Cup.
The Owls, 2-0 this season, will be back in action on Thursday, traveling to Keene State (NH) for the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
