Chris Caputo, a 2002 Westfield State graduate, is an assistant coach for the highly ranked Miami Hurricanes men's basketball team, which advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 with victories over Pacific and Illinois this past weeked. Miami plays Marquette on Thursday evening, March 28.
Miami earned a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament after capturing the prestigious Atlantic Coast Conference championship last weekend.
