Atkins Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week
Atkins scored the first goal of her collegiate career as she was named the league’s Rookie of the Week.

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State first-year forward Lilianna Atkins (Agawam, Mass.) received conference recognition this past week as she was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week.
Atkins netted her first collegiate goal in the second quarter versus Keene State, redirecting a pass into the top of the cage to put Westfield on the board.
The Owls currently own a 2-3 overall record and will begin MASCAC play this week starting on the road against Framingham State on Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. before returning home to host Worcester State on Saturday at 11:00 A.M.
