Nine Owls' Field Hockey Players Named to LEC Fall Academic Team
Westfield’s Lindsey Spindel (Mendon, Mass.), Morgan Wichmann (Granby, Conn.), Emily Martin (Southwick, Mass.), Madison Oullette (Uxbridge, Mass.), Molly Finnegan (Westport, Mass.), Jordan Conrad (Worcester, Mass.), Bre Foley (South Hadley, Mass.), Corryn Moroney (Granby, Mass.) and Taylor Creech (Kennebunk, Maine) were named to the team.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Nine members of the Westfield State University field hockey team have been named to the Little East Conference's Fall 2022 All-Academic Team.
To be named the LEC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be at least in sophomore standing in the classroom, have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the previous semester, and have been at their current institution for at least one full academic year.

That group helped the Owls to a 10-9 overall record and a 7-5 mark in the Little East this fall, under head coach Jessica Bergen.
