Boudreau, Langmeier Earn MASCAC Honors

After a pair of wins on Saturday afternoon, Owls graduate-student infielder Casey Boudreau (Shrewsbury, Mass.) earned MASCAC player of the week, and senior pitcher Nate Langmeier (East Granby, Conn.) took home MASCAC pitcher of the week.
Boudreau slashed .462 (6-13) with a home run, four RBI, five runs scored, a double, and a stolen base. His three-run home run to left field in game two on Saturday was his first career home run as it put the game away late for the Owls. He also collected three hits in the first game of the Saturday doubleheader. On the season, Boudreau is hitting a team-best .458 (27-59) with eleven RBI, eight doubles, a home run, and a team-leading eighteen runs scored.
Langmeier dominated the Bears' offense in game two of the Saturday doubleheader, recording a complete-game shutout while allowing only three hits and striking out 10 in an 8-0 victory. He continues to add to an impressive season on the mound, leading the MASCAC with five wins and posting a 2.25 earned run average (fourth in the MASCAC) in 20 innings pitched.
The Owls will continue an eight-game stretch against Bridgewater State on Friday at 1:00 P.M. at Hagan Field.
