Club Sports Handbook
The Club Sports Program at Westfield State College is designed to serve interests in different sports and recreational activities, whether they are competitive, recreational, and/or instructional. Emphasis is placed on student leadership and involvement, as well as on the dedication and commitment of club members.
The philosophy of the Club Sports Program is to promote health and physical well being and physical skill development among all of its participants. It also aims to develop leadership and management skills and other professional qualities that will benefit the participant throughout his/her lifetime and to provide social and recreational opportunities for the entire Westfield State community.
Club sports are designed to serve individual interests, indifferent competitive sports and recreational activities. These interests can be competitive, recreational, or instructional in nature.
