Back by popular demand, the student-athletes on the teams of football, men’s soccer, field hockey, women’s soccer and volleyball will be housed in Courtney Hall during preseason. Student-athletes will report to Courtney Hall upon arriving to campus.

ECAC All-New England Team

Three members of Westfield State's conference championship team were selected to the ECAC 2009 Division III New England women's soccer all-star squad.

Senior standout Meg Gearin (Groton, Mass.) was a first-team All-New England selection and also named the New England Division III offensive player of the year. Junior midfielder Kate MacLellan (Wlbraham, Mass.) was an All-New England  first-team pick and senior back Alicia Chandler (Duxbury)  was a second-team selection.

All-Conference Team

Six members of Westfield State's championship women's soccer team were selected the the Massachusetts State College Athletics Conference (MASCAC) all-conference squads.

Heading the list is senior forward Meg Gearin (Groton, Mass.), who was chosen the MASCAC player of the year. She set school records for goals (19) and points (42) in a season in leading the Owls to the MASCAC title and NCAA Tournament for the second straight year.
